R. John Marsden is a skilled massage therapist with a strong background in natural health, bodywork, and integrative care. He holds an Associate of Applied Science in Massage Therapy from Pacific College of Health and Science and completed advanced studies at the Naturopathic Institute of Therapies and Education. He also earned a Master of Traditional Oriental Medicine and is currently pursuing licensure in acupuncture.
John brings more than a decade of hands-on experience providing therapeutic massage in wellness clinics, medical settings, and private practice. His work emphasizes patient-centered care, thoughtful technique, and a calm, attentive approach that supports pain relief, relaxation, and overall well-being. His clinical experience includes therapeutic massage, craniosacral therapy, reflexology, aromatherapy, and hot stone treatments.
In addition to his clinical expertise, John has experience supporting interdisciplinary care teams, assisting with acupuncture patients, and maintaining a clean, supportive treatment environment. He previously co-owned and operated a family wellness practice, where he managed patient scheduling, client relations, and office operations.
At Compass Rehab, John contributes to a collaborative care model focused on helping patients move better, feel better, and support their overall health through skilled manual therapy.
